They find an interesting book and escape from the basement and goes home to Bart and reading the book. The book contains formulas, Bart tries one to take revenge on Skinner. Bart and Milhouse get tired of the book soon and walks away. Homer is in the toilet and washes off when the water stops flowing. Homer goes away and then he leaves the room, a green monster is coming out of the tap. Homer and Milhouse have been on Kwik-E-Mart when the bullies are asking for their lunch money. Bart will not give them the money and says he has new friends and a monster comes up from the sewers and taking care of the bullies.
Bart and Milhouse proceeds going to Skinner who is surprised to see them for they can not be finished in the basement. Bart tells Skinner that he has powerful powers now and Skinner laughs at him. Bart says a formula for Skinner and Springfield becomes outnumbered by monsters that begin to eat up the inhabitants of Springfield while Bart and Milhouse running home to look in the book for a formula to stop the monsters. When they get home has Santa's Little Helper the book in the mouth and they try to dislodge it, he starts to eat out of it and become a monster. Bart is frightened by what he had done just before a monster beats him down. Bart wakes up in his bed to eat breakfast, in the kitchen has all in the family become monsters and they are going to eat Milhouse. Bart promises then he will never read a book anymore.
