The Simpsons: The Musical is a musical starring the Simpson family.
History
When Krusty was looking for a new play to show at his rented theater, Bart and Lisa arguing inspired him to have the Simpsons star in a musical about their own lives. The family decided to do it and Krusty had their furniture moved from their house to the theater as part of the set. During the musical, the family sung many songs that parodied real songs.
The musical became a huge success and was very popular. However, the family got tired of playing themselves on stage and decided to take on different personas off stage. Eventually, the family quit, leading to Krusty going bankrupt and starting Bankruptcy: The Musical.
