Bongos is a Simpsons Super Spectacular comic story first printed in Simpsons Super Spectacular #2.

Sheldon Phillips, a photographer, is trying to take a photograph of his family when the Superior Squad distracts the family. Sheldon Phillips is annoyed because superheroes are everywhere now and the media won't buy any photos of them as there's a surplus of superhero photos. Sheldon had been assigned by a travel magazine to take photos of Zenith City. However, he kept getting disrupted by superheroes. As he was trying to take a photo, he witnessed a normal woman taking out a giant robot which had defeated Radioactive Man. Sheldon took photographs of this, thinking an average woman taking down a killer robot would be worth something to the media, but he lost his camera after the robot was defeated.
Sheldon got a new camera and went around Zenith's tourist attractions trying to take photos. However, he kept getting interrupted by superheroes fighting against villains. Eventually, Sheldon learned that Gloria Grand, a reporter for WZEN News, was the average woman who gained superpowers. Sheldon visits Gloria who is happy to tell him all about the superheroes, in particular Radioactive Man. As Radioactive Man flies past her window, Gloria falls out, leaving Radioactive Man to save her. Sheldon then leaves.
After Sheldon leaves, he keeps seeing superheroes fighting against villains. Getting fed up of this, he goes back to his artist roots and opens up an exhibit at the Mann Gallery. This exhibit shows superheroes and supervillains painted like comic book characters. As Gloria interviews Sheldon about his new exhibit, Radioactive Man and Dr. Crab fight outside of the art gallery, cutting the interview short.
