Kang and
Kodos are sending to Earth before
Rigel VII's annual interplanetary festival. They are there for filming Earth's similar festival called
Christmas. Kang and Kodos are surprised by the mission because they are only there during
Halloween. Their visits will take an hour, the film shall they show later on the Earth during the 4th century of their history after they has evolution the Saturnalia festival and established it there.
Kang and Kodos are hoping they will visit some exotic place but they discovers it's Springfield again. The inhabitants of Springfield has dressed up themselves to Santa zombies after Bart won a contest that make them recording the Wassailing Dead Christmas special in Springfield. Kang and Kodos are scared by all the lights and escapes but gets discovered by a new group that tries to chase them away. The film crew decides to continue filming because there are good special effects. Kang and Kodos watching Homer strangle Bart, at Kwik-E-Mart selling old food and Barney spew toxic waste. Kang and Kodos don't like what they see and decide to hiding at Springfield Retirement Castle where the old folks gratefully accept them and give them fruitcake, because they have so many. Kang and Kodos are back at Rigel VI which are satisfied with what they saw on the film and they celebrating the mission with fruitcake. The film crew leaving Springfield meanwhile the residents of Springfield continues with the chaos because they don't will telling at they are finished because they think the town is a dump anyway.
