Company Information
Mr. Plow snowplow

Mr. Plow was Homer's plowing company. He started it when he bought his Mr. Plow snowplow truck to pay the higher debt by using it to plow snow off the roads. He made a commercial, in which a family (Bart, Lisa, Marge and Maggie) see their entrance covered by snow, when Mr. Winter (Grampa Simpson dressed with a red suit) comes to throw snow at them, then Mr. Plow appears and kicks him out before singing the Mr. Plow's jingle. The commercial was aired at 2:00 a.m. on channel 99, just before the programming finishes. This attracted lots of customers who wanted their driveways cleaned. In recognition for his service Homer was given the key to the city. Everything was fine until Barney started a rival company but with an even bigger snowplow, the Plow King. After Barney's commercial with Linda Ronstadt and a jingle against Mr. Plow, everyone called Barney instead of Homer, so the key to the city was revoked from Homer to Barney. Homer made another commercial but it was unsuccessful so he made a crank call to Barney to clean the Widow's Peak, and after Homer learns Barney is trapped, he saves him. The Mr. Plow company was over after the snow melted completely.[1]

When Flanders asked Homer about his company, Homer denied he had ever owned one, but he was wearing his Mr. Plow jacket and remembered the jingle.[2]
