Hill of Beans is a Bart Simpson story that appears in Bart Simpson #9. The comic later got reprinted in the Big Bratty Book of Bart Simpson and Simpsons Illustrated #1.
Plot
Ralph has put a lima beans in his nose and it starts to grow, so he must go to the hospital where Dr. Hibbert removes it. Hibbert discovers that he has 183 lima beans in his nose, and when the Duff Book of World Records heard about this they put him on TV. This causes the residents of Springfield to try and break world records, but the TV team don't like what they recorded - it's not spirted and exiting. Fat Tony has an idea, he has a truck full of paddleballs, and sells them to those who gathered to show their records to the TV crew. This causes them to begin playing paddleball, and Springfield attempts to break the record for the most paddleball bounces.
