History

The Simpson family took Planespotting Airlines from Springfield to Edinburgh.

Behind the Laughter

Planespotting Airlines is a reference to the book Trainspotting and movie Trainspotting, which take place in Edinburgh. Part of the Aircraft livery has 'Trainspottings main antagonist Begbie as played in the movie by Simpsons fan Robert Carlyle[1]
