The Simpsons: Tapped Out Christmas 2014 content update was released on December 3, 2014, file-named "v4_12_XMAS2014". It was released under app version 4.12.0.
The Present Depot was re-used from Christmas 2013 and there are also two new currencies, Presents and Elf Berries. You can win prizes from both of these methods. This event, akin to Halloween 2014 is split into two phases, one when you earn prizes from Presents, the second earning prizes from Elf Berries.
Part/Phase 1 ends on December 24, 2014.
The event will end by at least January 13, 2015.
Upon installing the new app version there is 12.2MB/29.8MB/153.5MB update.
