John Constantine "Johnny" Unitas (May 7, 1933 – September 11, 2002) was an American football player, most famous for playing quarterback for the Baltimore Colts from the mid-1950s to the early 1970s. He voiced himself in the season 6 episode "Homie the Clown".
Behind the Laughter
- Unitas's picture is seen in the episode "Mother Simpson", where Grampa describes him as having a "haircut you could set your watch to".
- In "Bart the Lover", the producers had originally wanted to use Unitas's picture for Bart's personal ad alias, but were unable to obtain the rights to use his image for free.
