"The Bashin' of the Christ" is an episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show.
History
After Krusty turned Christian, he played a Christian episode of The Itchy & Scratchy Show during The Krusty the Clown Show. It wasn't well liked by the audience.
Plot
Itchy and Scratchy pull guns out on each other but when they fire them, flags with "Isaiah 2:4" written on them came out of the barrels. They then put on some clothes and Poochie comes by on roller skates.

Behind the Laughter
The episode name is a reference to The Passion of the Christ.
Isaiah 2:4 says: "He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore."
