Leonard Nimoy is an American actor, best known for playing Spock in the 1960s Star Trek TV series and several of the movies.
Nimoy was present at the opening of Springfield's monorail. He was the Grand Marshal of the opening ceremony, and joked, "I'd say this vessel could do at least Warp 5." He also stopped Krusty from jumping out of the monorail because "the world needs laughter" and annoyed other passengers by making sci-fi references and jokes.
Nimoy was the narrator of the story about an alien but was later replaced by the Squeaky-voiced teen. He later came to Springfield and sang with the rest of the townspeople after the mystery of the alien was solved.
When Mr. Burns was searching for the Loch Ness Monster, Homer asked him if he really thinks he can find him because he has eluded Leonard Nimoy and Peter Graves.
