Featured content

Hello. Month after month I've been struggling to update the main page with new featured content as there's been a lack of decent content to add. Therefore, I'm asking everyone to nominate any decent articles, episodes, images and quotes that fit the criteria. Most importantly is the featured article and episode. However, we're also lacking comprehensive article nominations too. The worst thing is that there is usually very little voting on these, with there only being one or two votes maximum. Urm...

I made a new section on the notability policy for crossovers. I decided that characters not in the template shouldn't get articles as they were 1) non-speaking and 2) not focused on by the camera. The reason being is that if these were Simpsons characters instead, they would be against the notability policy as 1) their name isn't mentioned in the episode 2) they were non-speaking and 3) they were background characters. "Let's Go Fly a Coot/Appearances"

Spam deletions

Quick note about deleting spam articles: Please blank the contents of the "Other/additional reason" window before you do the actual deletion. For two reasons ...

There's no need to have the beginning of the contents of the article display in the Recent Changes page. You passed your Admin nomination; one of the things that means is that we trust your judgement in identifying spam articles, so there's no need to leave a "paper trail".
Blanking the contents of the window ensures that the spammer's crap doesn't remain on the wiki for even one instant longer than necessary, not even in the form of a "ghost" on the Recent Changes page.

You can select the entire contents of the "Other/additional reason" window by triple-clicking anywhere inside the window. There is also a script that selects the contents of the window as soon as you arrive on the Delete screen. If you want to use the script, drop Solar a line and he can tell you how to set it up. Hello, since you've been working through a lot of orphaned pages, I thought I'd tell you something that might help, especially as we're getting to merchandise on the list. If you can make a navbox out of similar stuff, do it. I just made one for Toiletries for example. Although some things might be hard to link to. Hopefully, between us, we could work stuff out.
