Characters

I have gradually added all characters, but you have removed an article —Preceding unsigned comment added by RobotShake (talkcontribs) 17:41, May 13, 2010

I'm sorry but you should add them all in one go, unless there is a major chance of a loss or a lot of data if your computer crashes or something. Only 4 characters is not enough to save it on. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 16:45, May 13, 2010 (UTC)

Hi

Hi! I'm User:SexyShugar. I believe that Ferdinand Gurney was never seen or mentioned on the Simpsons and his article is worth deleting. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SexyShugar (talkcontribs) 19:54, May 15, 2010

I'm not too sure actually. I will import a disputed template in and paste that on the page and see what any one else thinks. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 18:58, May 15, 2010 (UTC)

My edits

Hey! Why do you keep reverting my edits? Thanks Effluvium 21:26, May 15, 2010 (UTC)

Please do not copy content directly from Wikipedia, Effluvium --Smiley12 was here at 21:30, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
Umm, I sort of knew you didn't mean me Smiley... Lucky guess. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 21:36, May 15, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, sorry guys. I'll try and make more helpful contributions in the future! Effluvium 11:00, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Template for in-universe articles with no listed appearances

Do we need a template for in-universe articles with absolutely no mention of where the character/object/location appeared? Ldude893 12:28, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I don't understand. If you mean articles with no episode links or mentions at all then no. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 12:29, May 16, 2010 (UTC)

Problem reports

How do you report a problem in the problem reports log? I wanted to report a problem on Üter Zorker, an IP has made a lot of changes I can't undo because it's too much and I don't know what he changed now. — TheHomer (TalkContributions) 01:01, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Ive replied on your talk page --Smiley12 was here at 05:29, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Appearance icon change?

Hey, I've never liked how all the apperance icons are in different dimensions and how the "episode" icon is way too small for the image it represents, so how about changing the icons to identical dimensions? I've always been fond of The Infosphere's icons and it would be great if we could have something like that. 15x15 pixels is a pretty good size since it's about as big as the letters. And also I think the focus task of the month should be something more Simpsons-related, WWII is not really even a big thing on the Simpsons and there's not really much we can say about it, how about putting Troy McClure in In-Universe style as the focus task? Alexandersig 17:00, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

Well, I refuse to take the Infosphere icons. As an admin on Futurama wiki, I made enemies with at least on of the admins on there. However, I think that the images should all be the same size. And the Main Focus Task is just an article that needs expansion and will need a massive lot of expansion. It will be changed once a month from now on if no one acts upon it. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 17:36, May 17, 2010 (UTC)

American History X-cellent Promo

Hi, so was that image the promo? Or is the promo the image you've uploaded now (the mugshot of Burns)? Effluvium 16:49, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think there is an official promo image so I just changed it to an image from the episode. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 16:59, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, OK. Thanks! Effluvium 17:16, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

American History X-cellent

Hi (again), I've tried to make some improvements to the article and I've removed the stub tag. Do you think it should still be considered a stub, if so, I'll edit it some more and try and make the content a little more detailed etc. Thanks! Effluvium 19:48, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Should be fine. It could be a bit longer but it isn't a stub. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 19:49, May 19, 2010 (UTC)
OK. Thanks again! :) Effluvium 19:59, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

Episode Tabs

Hi, I was just wondering if it would be possible for us to add something to the Episode Tabs template? I was thinking that it would be cool if we did what they do on the Family Guy Wiki ([[1]]), where they have the episode name and beneath the a short overview of the plot at the top of the article, away from the rest of the information about the episode (writers, date aired, main plot section etc). [[2]] -- the template can be seen here, if you're not sure what I mean. You can see how good it looks in this article -- [[3]]. I don't mind if you decide not to do this, I'm just thinking of ways on how we could improve the Wiki (not that it isn't great already!). Thanks! Effluvium 16:45, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

We have something a lot like that in our infoboxes and credits tabs. We don't really need that although an episode summary will be good after the introduction paragraph. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 16:49, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
OK, well I'm currently working on making sure all the episode pages look the same, with episode summaries etc. Thanks! Effluvium 16:55, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
Also, wouldn't it be a good idea to have an infobox to put on the seasons pages. The infoboxes could contain the first episode air date and the last, the show runners, the promotional image for the season and some other information. I'd be willing to make one, if thats all right with you? Effluvium 19:30, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah, sure. Go ahead and make it then. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 19:42, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
OK, I'll give you a nudge when I've done it! Effluvium 19:48, May 21, 2010 (UTC)
Hi, could you please take a look at the template? I can't seem to get it working...Effluvium 20:30, May 21, 2010 (UTC)

Springfield Heights/Waverly Hills

The articles have no sources to verify their information, and though I'm certain which episode Waverly Hills came from, I don't know which episodes mention Springfield Heights. Do you know which episode Springfield Heights came from? I currently find it very difficult to distinguish between Springfield Heights and Waverly Hills and whether they're roughly the same location or not.Ldude893 12:11, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I have no ideas about Springfield Heights. Disputed template being added. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 12:13, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Credits

Hi, I was just wondering if you could direct me to any good websites with a list of the production team, which I could insert into the CREDIT tabs. I've tried TV.com, but most of their information isn't added or is incorrect. I'd be grateful for your help, as I want to try and sort out all these CREDIT tabs which are red-linked. Thanks! :) Effluvium 18:42, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Umm, sorry. I can't help you there. I haven't made a single credits tab. try asking Ldude893, he may know. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 19:34, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
OK, thanks anyway! Effluvium 19:36, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

Richard Nixon

What's your "needs to be in-universe" beef with the Richard Nixon article? Mythigator 14:47, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

All people who have appeared in The Simpsons needs to be written like a normal character article. The behind the scenes section needs all of the information about him in the real world in. Any mention of the Simpsons being a TV show instead of real life anywhere but the Behind the Scenes section or infobox is bad and it is automatically not in-universe view then. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 14:57, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
Fair enough, but that template is woefully underinformative, which is why I removed it. I have a place to be this morning, but I'll tidy up the article later today, unless someone else does it first. Mythigator 15:00, May 26, 2010 (UTC)
Taken care of. Thanks for the tips. -- Mythigator 20:46, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

Futurama wiki

Hi, are you still active over at the Futurama wiki? The wikia staff seem to think so, but I saw your blog post in which you said you were leaving? Anyway, I've been trying to help out over there, mainly by using the tab system (which is active here) and trying it out over there. However, I've tried contacting Scarlet ScarabX (?) about it, but have had no reply. So I wanted to know, if your happy with me trying out some new things over there. As you know, I'm a serious contributor (like I am here) and (try) to make helpful edits. Thanks in advance! Effluvium 15:40, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I am inactive there now but I will still respond to tasks there if asked to. In future, please leave messages about a wiki on that wiki, on my talk page there. I will get a notification. ScarletScarabX is usually on later in our time, late at night sort of thing. ☆The Solar Dragon (Talk)☆ 15:42, May 27, 2010 (UTC)

About that so-called "spam"

Excuse me, but that Swordquest thing wasn't spam. All that NNewt84 wanted to do was to encourage people that the Swordquest should continue. And what did you do? You blocked him from this wiki. That's just plain rude! AmyRoseCute 07:45, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

NNewt84 believes that it was a very sad ending to what could have been one of the greatest events in videogame history. So what did he do? He decided to spread the word. And that's why he posted it on multiple talk pages! AmyRoseCute 12:48, May 28, 2010 (UTC)

I don't even know what the mainspace is! AmyRoseCute 22:27, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
