Leonard Nimoy is an American actor, best known for playing Spock in the 1960s Star Trek TV series and several of the movies.

Nimoy was present at the opening of Springfield's monorail. He was the Grand Marshal of the opening ceremony, and joked, "I'd say this vessel could do at least Warp 5." He also stopped Krusty from jumping out of the monorail because "the world needs laughter" and annoyed other passengers by making sci-fi references and jokes.
