History

Behind the Laughter

The Detroit Tigers are a baseball team that has been in the American League since their creation in 1901. The Tigers won their last World Series in 1984 and after a number of struggles in the early 2000s, the Tigers have been toward the top of the American League Central standings since the mid 2000s.
