Springfield Flight School
Location Information
Employees: Employee

Springfield Flight School is where Barney learned to ride a helicopter.

History

The employee said that Barney could not fly the helicopter, until Barney said he had a coupon, which he got from Moe, and the employee told him to hop in to a helicopter. Once, Barney flew the helicopter outside the Simpson house, causing all the furniture (and the cat) to fly behind Marge, who then tells Homer that he can ride in the helicopter. Barney and Homer had a fight on the plane, and the two had an argument in the Kwik-E-Mart, which ended in Homer walking out without paying for his beer. When Mt. Springfield caught fire, trapping Bart and Lisa, who were attempting to capture a picture for the Phone Book competition, Barney flew the plane to try and rescue them, but crashed on Springfield Bridge, and Homer and Barney fought over beer. Barney then flew the helicopter over Bart and Lisa, who were up a tree, and Barney put a ladder down. A bear then climbed the ladder, and Homer cut the ladder off the helicopter, resulting in the bear falling to the ground. Homer then clinged onto the helicopter landing bar (with his feet), and rescued Bart and Lisa with his hands.
