The Brotherhood of the Spectacles is a group of Bart's classmates at Springfield Elementary. Bart, Nelson, Milhouse, Kearney, Dolph and Jimbo make up the group.
History
When Chalmers is put in charge of Bart's education, he sparks a fascination in President Roosevelt. He takes Bart's band of "Rough Riders" on an overnight excursion to Springfield Forest, but Chalmers is fired after the school board find out about the unauthorized trip, which caused Nelson an injured arm. The Brotherhood of the Spectacles then take the school hostage until Chalmers is reinstated.
