Lisa believed the Simpsons' roots were too boring while preparing for her school's Multicultural Day presentations so decided to fabricate descent from a totally made-up Native American tribe and named them after the Hitachi logo on the microwave in the kitchen and pronounced it similar to Apache or Comanche.
