Stories

Little Orphan Bart

Main article: Little Orphan Bart
"Bart goes to extraordinary lengths to get his hands on new Radioactive Man action figures. Pretending to be an orphan for a chance to visit the action figure factory seems like a good idea - until he wants to go home. And things go from bad to worse when Homer tries to adopt him!"

The Simpsons Spin-Off Showcase: Quickly Cancelled Comic Book Cavalcade

"Ever wonder what crazy side projects the writers at Bongo Comics are waiting to unleash onto an unsuspecting world? Nope, us neither, but they are! This issue features all the spin-off comics that are fit to print (barely), collected for your convenience!"

Advertising error

Due to an advertising error, two different editions featuring different stories and a different cover, were revealed, though the free gift (a magnet set), remained the same. The first advertised edition was released as The Best of The Simpsons #66, while the second represented the actual issue.

Advertised in Bart Simpson #34:

"Telephonic terror strikes Springfield! Wrong Numbers ruin the day, voicemail vexes the vacuous and the worst ringtones known to man, um, ring. Loudly. Find out how the simple act of giving Grampa a mobile phone caused catastrophe and invasion! Elsewhere in this issue, the Krusty the Clown Show gets cancelled after some crocodile-based chaos and Ned Flanders gets his prayers answered, or does he?"

Advertised in Simpsons Comics #182:

"Somehow, Bart ends up in the Springfield Orphanage, and it's run by none other than Mr. Burns himself! Ay Carumba! Plus, prepare for Simpsons spin-off shenanigans, as some of the Springfield residents get their own TV series! Are you ready for Chief Wiggum, Private Investigator?"
