History

Bart and Milhouse try to imitate a compromising scene from The O.C. in order to get Luann and Kirk Van Houten divorced, but they fail. Milhouse then recommends to use another film as a guide, in this case the musical Oklahoma!, and imagines him and Bart dancing to this song.

Lyrics

Milhouse:
Maybe we should use a different movie as our guide. Like Oklahoma!
(Milhouse has a fantasy where Bart and Milhouse are dressed as characters from the musical)
Bart and Milhouse:
Oh, the farmer and the cowman should be friends,
Oh, the farmer and the cowman should be friends.
Milhouse:
One man likes to push a plow...
Bart:
The one likes to chase a cow...
Bart and Milhouse:
But that's no reason why they cain't be friends.
(both shoot pistols)
Milhouse:
Whadaya think, Bart? A hoedown could solve all our problems.
Bart:
I thought I told you, no Rodgers and Hammerstein!
Milhouse:
Rodgers and Hart?
Bart:
No!
