The Stonecutters are a secret organization of Springfieldiands led by the all-knowning Number One first seen in the series in the episode "Homer the Great". Members are identified by number rather than name. At least 908 members joined prior to Homer's joining. Some members include Lenny Leonard, Carl Carlson, Krusty The Clown, Leopold, Herman, Moe Szyslak, Clancy Wiggum, Jasper Beardley, Principal Seymour Skinner, Charles Montgomery Burns, Waylon Smithers, and Abraham Simpson, who had just retired. In the World of Springfield line of toys, various Stonecutter figures were released.

Stonecutter theme song

thumb|right|294px Their theme song goes like this;

Who controls the British crown? Who keeps the metric system down? We do, we do!
Who keeps Atlantis off the maps? Who keeps the Martians under wraps? We do, we do!
Who holds back the electric car? Who makes Steve Guttenberg a star? We do, we do!
Who robs cavefish of their sight? Who rigs every Oscar night? We do, we do, we do!'

It is speculated that they are responsible for these mysteries.
