History
When Springfield was split in half, the residents of Olde Springfield, who were waiting impatiently for The Who to turn up at Olde Springfield Arena, found that Homer, the mayor and one of the sole five residents of New Springfield had stolen The Who and got them to perform for him and his family. In retribution, some residents of Olde Springfield got a catapult from Rent-A-Pult to throw alight garbage onto Homer, missing the first time, but hitting the second. [1]
Non-canon
When Krusty planned to use the Catapult the player received as a Personal Prize during the Clash of Clones event for Sideshow Mel's stunt, the latter asked if the catapult was a quality catapult from Rent-A-Pult. Krusty said "How do I know?" [2]
