The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are a current Major League Baseball (MLB) team in Los Angeles, California.

History

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim are a baseball team that has been in the American League since their creation in 1961. After numerous name changes, the Los Angeles Angels won a World Series championship in 2002 and they were also a very dominative playoff team during the 2000s. They were renamed to the current Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2005.
