The Muntz family residing at 19 Fish Smell Drive in Springfield. The immediate members are 4th grader Nelson Muntz, his mother Mrs. Muntz and his father Eddie Muntz who abandons the family. Extended family members include Nelson's grandfather Judge Muntz, and Mr. Muntz's other wife and child.
Lisa is the first person he Nelson brought over to his house since the first person he had over to the house since his father went nuts.[1] When Bart is the only person to show up for Nelson's birthday party he later retells Lisa about what happened "then we sang songs with Nelson's grandma."[2] At Springfield Elementary School's Grandparents Day Nelson taunts Bart for walking arm in arm with Mrs. Skinner while also lamenting, "And my grandmas are gone. One's in jail and one's in dirt jail."[3]
