[[Bart]] discovers he has numerous talents, but is disheartened when he realises that other people are much better than him, especially [[Jimbo]] when it comes to skateboarding. When [[Janey]] is visiting she comments on Bart's ability to do multiple things at once. Bart gets the idea to utilise his talents - harmonica playing, juggling and skateboarding - all at once to make him stand out. Eventually Jimbo, [[Dolph]], [[Kearney]] and [[Nelson]] also master this ability, meaning that Bart no longer stands out.

Talent Hunt is a Bart Simpson story first printed in Bart Simpson #2.

Synopsis[edit]

"Bart struggles to find a talent that he excels in."


Plot[edit]

Bart discovers that he can play the harmonica pretty well. But when he goes to show Lisa, he finds her playing her saxophone better than he could play the harmonica and decides not to show her. Bart then discovers that he's good at juggling, but when he goes to show Homer, he finds that Maggie is juggling better than he was. Feeling dejected, Bart speaks to Milhouse who tells Bart that he's good at skateboarding. However, Jimbo shows off his skateboarding skills, doing a triple corkscrew and a double loop-de-loop.

Bart goes home and is told to do his homework by Marge. As well as doing his homework, he watches The Itchy & Scratchy Show, eats chips, drinks a drink and is on the phone. Janey, who is visiting Lisa, sees this and is impressed by Bart being able to do so many things simultaneously.
