Comic Story information
|
The Moe and Otto Switcheroo is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #229.
Synopsis[edit]
- "Springfield's favorite bus driver and beer slinger pull a little job switcheroo and let their Freaky Friday flag fly."
Plot[edit]
Lisa and Bart are riding the school bus. Bart sees that Otto is depressed and he tells him that his job is getting on his nerves. Bart asks him to go to Moe's because Homer goes there to feel better. Otto visits Moe and he discovers that Moe is also depressed. They decide to change jobs. Seymour Skinner isn't sure about hiring Moe as the bus driver, but he accepts him as long as he does not give him extra paperwork. Otto and Moe like their new jobs, but Bart is not happy with Moe as a bus driver. However, everyone else is happy with the change, both the kids and Moe's barflies. Bart tries to get Otto to quit his job as a bartender by making a prank call but Otto does not understand the joke. So Bart gets a new idea and asks Moe if he reminded Otto not to let Homer take a tab. Moe gets a panic attack and takes back his old job, and Otto searches for a new job and replaces Dr. Hibbert as the doctor begins to drive the bus.
