[[Homer Simpson|Homer]] buys the last crate of [[Duff Beer]] at the [[Kwik-E-Mart]], breaking a promise to [[Barney Gumble|Barney]] that they would share each half. One of the bottle caps wins him and the [[Simpson family|family]] a trip to the Caribbean island [[Bosqueverde]]. On the flight, [[Lisa Simpson|Lisa]] reads about how the country is a dictatorship engaged in civil war. Upon arrival, the family are greeted by President [[Hidalgo]] who invites them to stay at his house. While exploring, Lisa encounters a rebellion army who she offers to help by persuading [[Bart Simpson|Bart]] to perform a number of pranks on Hidalgo. Bart's pranks include hoax calls, graffiti and defacing statues. Having read about the mishaps in the newspaper, [[Seymour Skinner|Principal Skinner]] informs Hidalgo that Bart is responsible. The military is ordered to kill the Simpson family and gives chase. The family encounters [[Ranier Wolfcastle]], where they inadvertently perform the role of American hostages for the latest [[McBain XII: The Day after the Last Day on Earth|McBain film]], after which they are able to return home. At [[Moe's Tavern|Moe's]], Barney laughs maniacally, hinting that he placed a curse on Homer for stealing his Duff.
