C.H.U.M. is a Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror comic story first printed in The Simpsons' Treehouse of Horror #15.
Synopsis[edit]
Sewer worker Hans Moleman discovers a sewer pipe of extremely high radiation and thinks who could be flushing such contaminated waste. At the same time, Homer Simpson is shown to be pouring nuclear waste from a barrel into the toilet, then flushes. The nuclear waste sprays onto Hans's face, mutating him into a green abomination, making a horrific scream. At the same time, Marge hears the scream outside the sewer grate and ushers to Maggie that they should go home.
Later that night, Hans Moleman leaves the sewer, but a car drives over the grate, slamming it on his fingers. Nelson Muntz laughs at the incident, but is quickly dragged by Hans into the sewer and eaten alive. He proceeds to eat Milhouse as he takes out the garbage. Rod Flanders and Tod Flanders mistake screeching noises in the bushes to be God, only for their horror to be eaten by Hans. Afterwards, the mutant breaks through Ralph Wiggum's bedroom window, but is stopped as Chief Wiggum kicks the door down with a pistol.
However, Chief Wiggum mistakes him as his wife and Ralph thinks his mommy has come back, confusing Hans. They spend some quality time together as a family at the amusement park, where they go shopping, riding swings and looking at the decapitated heads of Rod and Tod, with a worried Ned Flanders calling for his boys. Finally, they enjoy eating a three eyed fish dinner, along with a bedtime story, with Milhouse's head hung as a trophy on the wall.
