Synopsis[edit]
- "The Simpsons of Springfield meet their doppelgangers, the Simpkins from Capital City, and it's worse than they ever expected."
Plot[edit]
Bart is playing football on the playground, but gets hit by a girl named Barb Simpkins. Bart sees that Barb has a skateboard and he challenges her to a race, which she wins. Barb is soon declared one of the worst kids in the school. Bart decides to get revenge. He dumps a jar of acid on Seymour Skinner, disintegrating his clothes except for his underwear. He hides in a locker while Bart runs away, then gets new clothes. Barb tells Skinner that Bart has fooled him and now the whole school will see him in his underwear. Then Seymour comes out of the locker in his new clothes, which turns out to be a dress, and the whole school sees him and they laugh at him. In the comic book store, Comic Book Guy says that he has been rebooted, which means that he has been replaced by a superior female version. Bart finds out that Barb reads comic books on her myPad and visits comic book message boards. Milhouse then asks Barb if he can become her sidekick, which angers Bart. In school, Lisa meets Barb's brother, Lee, who replaces Lisa as lead saxophone player in the school band because he is better than her. When Lisa finds out that he is a vegan, she becomes upset. Bart and Lisa wonder what they should do to get their personalities back, but then there is an explosion at Springfield Nuclear Power Plant and the Simpkins family is forced to leave Springfield after the father, Gomer, is fired after an accident at the power plant. Homer is sad because he does not feel special anymore, because he was the worst employee at the power plant, but Bart cheers him up and says that he'll always be the worst to him.
