Synopsis

"There must have been some magic in that new cosmic ray that Prof. Frink invented, because once he points it at Bart's snowman the juvenile jokester has a brand-new friend named Snowmer"

Bart wakes up Homer for he is late for work and Mr. Burns will fire him if he is not on work in ten minutes. When he leaves the garage with his car, he miss the snow ramp that Milhouse has build, and he drives up to the ramp and crashes in a neighbor tree. As punishment is Bart not allowed to follow the family to the Hot Chocolate Festival and Ned Flanders will make it sure at he does not leave the garden. Bart is at the garden and building a snowman and starts throwing snowballs at it. Professor Frink passes the house at the same time and a snowball hits him and he drops his hydro-animator which is activated and sends a ray towards the snowman which comes to life. Frink is happy because it is a prove at his machine works and Bart starts playing with him and calls him Snowmer. Homer comes home with the rest of the family and becomes jealous of Bart and Snowmer, he tries to play with them but Bart does not allow it. Homer contacts Frink and he let him make a snowman as Homer made that look like Bart came to life. He calls the snowman for Snowmer Junior. Homer is not doing well with Snowmer Jr. and happen to break off his head that rolls down the street and Plow King is running over him.

Homer is borrow the ray again and building a new Snowmer Jr. that is a better friends with Homer than the last. Homer tries to tease Bart but he does not care for Snowmer is amazing. Homer and Bart beging to compete about who's has the best snowman, Snowmer or Junior, it ends with a snowball fight against them from Snowmer and Junior who are tired of how they treat them as trained snow monkey. Homer and Bart making peace and decide that they need to get away Snowmer and Junior and made them to come in the house for ice cream. When they stepping inside they begin to melt and Homer and Bart puts them in canning jars for they feel sorry for them and they starting to watch TV together at the couch.
