The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a free game for iOS and Android, developed and published by Electronic Arts, first released on February 17, 2012. The game consists of the player helping Homer and other characters to rebuild Springfield. The game features the original cast.

The game was removed from the App Store on March 3, 2012, due to connectivity issues primarily caused by the USA release of the game two days before. August and September that year saw the game re-launch in various countries, with January and February 2013 overlooking the game's long-awaited Android launch in various countries.

Gymnastic Lisa is an outfit for Lisa in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. This outfit is the first for Lisa and was only available through the Whacking Day event, inwhich upon whacking

1,000, or using

60, would unlock the Balance Beam, which when placed, unlocked Gymnastic Lisa.

Gymnastic Lisa's 4 hour and 8 hours tasks are unlocked upon purchasing and building Lugash's Gym, a building included in the Whacking Day content update.

The outfit is part of a questline - "Little Girl in the Big Ten", also the title of the The Simpsons episode inwhich Lisa trains to be a gymnast. The storyline is continued when the player builds Lugash's Gym. Read about Lisa Simpson | More featured characters

July 8: The 4th of July event content has been removed - apart from Lincoln! Lincoln Overtime begins today and lasts until July 25! Woo-hoo!

4th July 2013 content update
June 28, 2013 saw the twenty-fifth content update being added to the game. The update brought the 4th of July celebrations to Springfield, including the addition of Abraham Lincoln!

This year, especially this summer, is going to be huge for Tapped Out. With Squidport here, it's going to be a summer that will really make players notice the game's longevity.
