The Aphrodite Inn is perhaps the most luxurious hotel in Springfield. It boasts fifty-seven individually-themed rooms.

History

Gunter and Ernst are frequent lodgers at the Aphrodite Inn.(Citation Needed) So, apparently, is Mayor Quimby, and the Caveman Room appears to be one of his favorites.[1]

When Selma married Troy McClure, they honeymooned at the Aphrodite Inn.[2]

Homer and Marge stayed at the Aphrodite Inn for a night (at the same time as one of Quimby's visits), hoping that a romantic night out would inject some spice into their marriage. The idea fizzled, however, when the only room available was the hotel's utility room, in spite of Homer's best efforts to create a romantic fantasy out of the situation.[1]

Rooms

The themed rooms at the Aprodite Inn include the following:

  • The Smokey and the Bandit Suite(Citation Needed)
  • The Oval Office(Citation Needed)
  • The Arabian Nights Room[1]
  • The Pharaoh's Chamber (When Homer and Marge were waiting to check in, Homer noted that it had a vibrating sarcophagus.)[1]
  • The Caveman Room (Mayor Quimby, dressed in a "thematically-appropriate" outfit, came out to say that the toilet was overflowing.)[1]
  • The Safari Room[1]
  • The Camelot Room[1]
  • The Utility Room (The hotel's actual utility room; Homer and Marge ended up here because everything else was booked.)[1]
