Sun Burns! is a The Simpsons Summer Shindig comic story first printed in Simpsons Summer Shindig #7.

Synopsis[edit]

Mr. Burns' decision to commandeer Springfield's public beach amidst a heatwave turns the citizens of Springfield against him.

Plot[edit]

The Simpson family and other people of Springfield visit the Springfield Public Beach. When they arrive, they discover that Mr. Burns bought the beach. Nelson and Bart try to have fun but find that Burns' dogs guard the sea and that he has hired paintball snipers in the lifeguard tower. He also hired supermodels to make people feel bad about their looks. Lisa asks Mr. Burns to change his mind, but he refuses. Mr. Burns starts sunbathing on the beach and does not use the sunblock that Smithers offers him.
