Sir James Paul McCartney, CE, MBE (born June 18, 1942) is an English singer, songwriter and musician, best known for formerly being a member of The Beatles. He voiced himself in the season 7 episode "Lisa the Vegetarian", alongside his now deceased wife Linda.

His stipulation for appearing was that Lisa's decision to become a vegetarian would be a permanent character change, to which producer David Mirkin agreed.[1] However, in the season 24 episode "Penny-Wiseguys", Lisa eats insects after she had to add more iron in her vegetarian diet.

Paul McCartney was voted joint 10th in IGN's "Top 25 Simpsons Guest Stars" along with fellow Beatles Ringo Starr and George Harrison.
