Jebediah Springfield was born in Axhandle, [[Virginia]], in 1774. His dream was to go west and explore the American frontier. When he was thirteen he left school and started to help his father at the farm, but discovered that he was allergic to soil. He then started to work in a shop that printed fishing almanacs and wrote his own pamphlets. He was hired by a mule skinner named Bucskin Calhoun and learned from him valuable lessons in wilderness survival, navigation and attire.

Angry Dad is a fictional comic turned Internet series created by Bart Simpson. It is about Angry Dad, a character who does stupid things and gets angry—based on Homer's real-life rages.

After animator and artist Geoff Jenkins gave a talk at Springfield Elementary School, the kids started doodling characters and comics. Bart's first comic, featuring a character called Danger Dude, was rejected by Comic Book Guy, who called it "lame and derivative". Bart then showed the comic to Stan Lee, who also didn't like it. However, Stan Lee told Bart that he should keep trying. Bart then tried to come up with an idea for his new comic. When he saw Homer struggling with and getting angry at a lawn chair, Bart turned that into a comic strip and called it Angry Dad. After getting other ideas from Homer's actions, Bart finished his first comic. The comic became a success among the children at the school, and Bart then had Comic Book Guy sell it in The Android's Dungeon.

During a comic signing at school, Todd Linux, the executive of BetterThanTV.com, approached Bart and told him that he wanted to turn Angry Dad into an Internet cartoon. Linux invited Bart and Lisa to their office and showed them around. He also introduced them to the new voice actor of Angry Dad, Dan Castellaneta. Within an hour of the first episode being released, the show became a hit and Homer became a laughing stock in town. This led to the townspeople trying to get Homer angry, and caused more inspiration for Angry Dad episodes...
