Carole Penny Marshall (October 15, 1943 – December 17, 2018) was an American actress, director, and producer, best known for her role as Laverne on Laverne & Shirley and for directing Big. She voiced Lucille Botzcowski in the season 1 episode "Some Enchanted Evening". She was the sister of actor Garry Marshall.
