Kidz Newz was a short-lived news program targeted towards children.

Kidz News was produced by and broadcasted on Channel 6 to fulfill the FCC's requirement for educational programming. To make room for the program, The Krusty the Clown Show's running time was trimmed by twenty minutes. Lisa Simpson was the lead anchor, while Bart Simpson reported on the sentimental circumstances of various citizens of Springfield in the segment "Bart's People".
Kidz Newz was eventually canceled and replaced with the Mattel and Mars Bar Quick Energy Chocobot Hour.
