Chief Wiggum leaves the house for a minute, and Ralph, thinking he's the man of the house, decides to do some strange things.

The comic was released in five different covers, each with a different Ralph quote. The direct market had three covers, while the other two were for newsstands and bookstores and were released on March 20.[1]
Bongo Comics held a contest where the first person to e-mail Bongo a photo of themselves holding all five Ralph Wiggum Comics #1 covers would be "Simpsonized" in a future issue of a Simpsons or Bart Simpson comic of their choice. The winner of the contest was Sam Young,[2] and he appeared as a Simpsons character in Simpsons Comics #197.[3]
