Worst Con Ever! is a Simpsons Comics story first printed in Simpsons Comics #214.
Synopsis[edit]
- "There's a new comic convention coming to Springfield, and it's Homer who's going bananas over the chance to meet his favorite, primetime, primate TV star Christmas Ape!"
Plot[edit]
The Simpsons are visiting the Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi Convention. Marge takes Maggie to the daycare room. Homer hates the convention, because nerds are his mortal enemies. When Homer hears that Christmas Ape is there, he starts to look for him at the convention. Bart visits Comic Book Guy's stand and buys a replica of Badgerine's claws. Lisa is trying to find the Malibu Stacy presentation, and manages to do it after she accidentally visits the Flash Gordon panel. Lisa complains about Malibu Stacy and Bart starts to use his Badgerine claws to impress the young people. Homer is unhappy when he can't find Christmas Ape. One of the visitors at the convention recognizes Homer as Poochie and he starts to run from his fans. However, he soon finds out that they don't want to hurt him, they just want his autograph. Homer is happy and goes to pick up Marge and Maggie at the day care center. He finds Christmas Ape there, having a tea party with the babies.
