The Griffin family is a family who reside in Quahog, Rhode Island. They live at 31 Spooner Street.
The Griffins consists of Peter Griffin and his wife Lois Griffin. Peter and Lois have three children: daughter Meg and two sons Chris and Stewie. The family also has a talking pet dog named Brian.
History[edit]
The Griffins were forced to leave Quahog after Peter's comic strip, For Pete's Sake!, caused controversy. After this, the Griffins ended up in Springfield after there car was stolen at a gas station. The Griffins are soon befriended by the Simpson family, consisting of Bart, Homer, Lisa, Maggie, and Marge. However, after the Griffin family's car was recovered, problems arose after it was discovered that Quahog's Pawtucket Patriot Ale is the same as Duff Beer with a different logo. Peter, an employee of Pawtucket, is taken to court for "intellectual theft" and "patent infringement".
When the Griffins lose the case, Peter and Homer get into a massive fight all over Springfield. The two, battered and bruised after the fight, resolve their differences. When the family returns home to Quahog, nothing changes at all, and Pawtucket Patriot Ale is still in business.
