Double Date is a Krusty Comics story first printed in Krusty Comics #1.
Synopsis[edit]
- Krusty's date with two women turns into a disaster for the clown when they prefer Mr. Teeny over him.
Plot[edit]
Krusty is getting ready for a date with two women at a film premiere, with Mr. Teeny joining him. Krusty tells Mr. Teeny not to upstage him, not to bother his dates, and not to eat his flowers. When Krusty goes to pick up his dates, he has Mr. Teeny hold the flowers. However, Mr. Teeny eats them, angering Krusty. But when Krusty realizes that the women like Mr. Teeny, he stops himself from harming the monkey.
Krusty then opens the door to his car to let the women in, but they quickly take the front seat with Mr. Teeny instead, with Mr. Teeny at the steering wheel. Krusty climbs over the seat but accidentally starts the car with his big shoes. The car lurches forward, and Krusty falls out, holding onto the back. Mr. Teeny keeps driving, going down roads marked "Do Not Enter" and through banners. Eventually, Krusty manages to pull himself up to the windshield, and Mr. Teeny brakes, sending Krusty flying through the theater.
At the hospital, Krusty is reading about Mr. Teeny and his dates in Springfield Variety, and he yells for the nurse to get him a lot more painkillers.
