Description[edit]

VHS[edit]

MAYORED TO THE MOB

Set your Phasers on Fun! It's Homer Simpson-Nerdbuster! By rescuing Mayor Quimby from rioting geeks at a Sci-Fi Convention, Homer becomes the official mayoral bodyguard, only to discover he's got to battle Fat Tony's wacky gangsters. A deadly ballet fraught with musical mayhem!!

DOG OF DEATH

The Dog: Man's best...and most expensive friend? A potenrially fatal illness strikes Santa's Little Helper, testing the Simpson family's loyalty, pocketbook, and ability to stomach organ meats. A harrowingly humorous tale of lottery-ticket emotion, canine devotion, and the sweet gamey tang of human flesh!

THE SECRET WAR OF LISA SIMPSON

When Bart nearly destroys Springfield and is sent to Rommelwood Military Academy for discipline, Lisa decides she wants to become its first female cadet. TREMBLE at the sheer brutality of a fourth-grade hazing! SHRINK from the death-defying spectacle of "The Eliminator"!! SURVIVE a poem by John Keats!!!

MARGE BE NOT PROUD

The pencil of crime has no eraser! Or does it? A heavy bombardment of X-mas commercials for an insanely expernsive video-game drives Bart to consider if larceny is the best policy. Will Bart survive the scare-tactics of the Try-N-Save store detective, Homer's laughably feeble punishments, and the alienation of a mother's love? (This show must be seen to be seen!)

*Features the guest voices of Willem Dafoe, Mark Hamill, Phil Hartman, Joe Mantegna, Dick Tufeld, Lawrence Tierney, Marcia Wallace, Frank Welker.

Colour/Running Time Approx: 88 Minutes.

Trivia[edit]

  • A sticker on the packaging stated "88 Minutes 4 Classic Episodes Includes The Best Star Wars Simpsons Moments".
  • In the UK, the spines of the four 1999 video releases formed an image of the Simpson family on the couch. From left to right -
  1. The Simpsons: Too Hot for TV (Marge arms crossed, tapping her foot)
  2. The Simpsons: Go to Hollywood (Homer passed out in his underpants)
  3. Bart Wars - The Simpsons Strike Back (Maggie wearing a foam hand with "We're #1" written on it, sitting on the couch, with Santa's Little Helper and Snowball II on the floor)
  4. The Simpsons: Greatest Hits (Bart and Lisa next to the floor lamp)
