Sense and Censorability is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics 39. The comic later got reprinted in Simpsons Comics Unchained and Simpsons Classics 20.
Plot
Principal Skinner orders Bart to do a presentation in front of the entire school about a historical figure and to make matters worse he must do it with Homer. On a trip to The Android's Dungeon Homer finds violent history-based horror comics in the adults only section and decides to use them for research. With Springfield residents including Chief Wiggum and Mayor Quimby watching, Homer and Bart deliver an obscene version of American history leading to Homer's swift arrest.
