Saved by the Bell was a television series.

History

Martin Prince, Jr., then the student-body president, got the idea for Springfield Elementary's Casino Night from an episode of Saved by the Bell. Principal Skinner said it was always on too late for him to watch.

In the Saved by the Bell episode, a casino night was held at the school, and it ended in disaster when it was revealed that the chips had no monetary value. The same thing happened at Springfield Elementary's casino night.[1]

Homer was visiting Old Springfield Library and pretending to be a professor because Bart had told him to pretend it was Opposite Day. Homer helped some college students with their homework, among them Zach and Screech, who were grateful for his assistance.[2]

Behind the Laughter

Saved by the Bell was a real television series that aired from 1989 to 1993. However, there was no episode with a casino night at Bayside High School.
