Oh How Do We? is a song from the episode Yokel Chords. It is a parody of the song "Maria" from the musical The Sound of Music. The music was written by Alf Clausen and the lyrics by Michael Price. It is part the thirty-seventh track on the album The Simpsons: Testify.

Lyrics

'Lisa(speaking):
Excuse me? Lisa Simpson with the school paper. Am I to understand you're purposely denying education to these children?
(both Seymour Skinner and Superintendent Chalmers stumble to get words out)
You haven't heard the last of this!
Superintendent Chalmers:
(thinking she left the room) Well, I think we've heard the last of this.
Lisa:
No, you haven't!
Seymour Skinner:
We're gonna have to give this some thought.
Superintendent Chalmers:
Let's sing while we think. It'll make it more fun for everyone.
Seymour Skinner:
How do we gag a blabbermouth like Lisa?
Superintendent Chalmers:
How do we crush her First Amendment rights?
Seymour Skinner:
How do we stop her writing up what she saw?
Superintendent Chalmers:
Would she shut her trap?
Seymour Skinner:
For a gift card from the Gap?
Skinner and Chalmers:
She might.
Teachers:
Oh how do we stop a royal pain like Lisa?
How do we make this righteous less uptight?
Seymour Skinner:
You have a lovely voice, sir.
Superintendent Chalmers:
(sighs) Why do you have to make everything weird?
