James Lipton (born September 19, 1926) is an American actor, composer, poet, and writer, best known for being his television show Inside the Actors Studio, which has aired on Bravo since 1994. He himself in the season 13 episode "The Sweetest Apu" and the season 22 episode "Homer the Father".
