Location Information
|
Five Corners is the only place in the US where five states meet.
History
The Simpsons visit Five Corners while driving to Itchy & Scratchy Land.[1] Sideshow Bob takes Bart to the marker to kill him across state lines without committing a crime. As he jumps over the lines, he hits a rake. The plan backfires, as Bart alerted the police before he left and Sideshow Bob is captured by the police of all five states.[2]
Behind the Laughter
This is a parody of the Four Corners Monument where the borders of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah intersect.
