Elton John is a British musician. He ended up in Springfield airport as his chandelier in his private jet malfunctioned. Homer thought that Apu had got him for Valentine's Day as a gift for his wife, Manjula. Homer then shoved him into a dog cage to keep Apu from seeing him. Homer was wrong and Elton chewed his way out of the cage. Elton had a brush with death as the aeroplane that Apu had hired to write "I Love You Manjula" in the sky almost hit him as Homer and the Pilot were fighting.
