CMB Network (C. Montgomery Burns Network) is a forthcoming American television network owned by Mr. Burns. Burns describes it as "[giving] the DuMont Network a run for its money" and has several programs in production to air for the network's first season.

Behind the Laughter

Mr. Burns' launching the CMB Network to compete with DuMont is another allusion to his penchant for outdated pop-culture references. DuMont was one of the original American television networks (along with NBC, CBS and ABC) and operated from 1946 until 1956.
