Bartman - Part III: The Great Purple Hope is a comic story featured in Bartman #6. It is the final part of a three-part series. In the UK it was released in Simpsons Comics #38 and Bart Simpson #19.
Plot
The story carries on from Bartman - Part Two: Sisters Are Doin' It For Themselves.
Unable to walk properly, Bartman masks Santa's Little Helper and uses him to pull on his skateboard so he can move about the town. He confronts Kent Brockman who reveals that he was turning Bartman into a scapegoat to increase his ratings and is now about to unmask him in front of an audience.
